UNA-USA is proud to launch an action-oriented member-focused Student Alliance program to meet the needs of today’s globally minded middle school, high school, and undergraduate college students. Student Alliance is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and mobilizing American students to support the principles and vital work of the United Nations, strengthening the United Nations system, promoting constructive United States leadership in that system, and achieving the goals of the United Nations Charter.

With the spirit of change in the air, UNA-USA's Student Alliance seeks to engage students in a nationwide network of motivated individuals, student advocacy groups, international affairs clubs, and Model UN teams who stand poised to collectively sound their voices and make their opinions heard amongst their peers, in their communities, across the nation and around the world! President Obama and his top officials have pledged to strengthen America’s global leadership through a renewed emphasis on international cooperation, diplomacy, and active participation at the United Nations, and now is your time to get involved!

Join as an Individual Student

UNA-USA is committed to promoting American engagement with global challenges and the international system. As an individual member of the Student Alliance, you can join the thousands of students who already take part in UNA-USA's educational, outreach, and advocacy programs in support of this commitment.

Start a Student Alliance Group

Form a Student Alliance Group with fellow students and friends to coordinate efforts in your school and community! Strong Student Alliance groups have the potential to plan community-wide events and projects, organize conferences, invite prominent speakers, and change public perception of the UN.

UNA-USA has 135 chapters and divisions across the country that carry out programs and campaigns at the regional and national levels through a combination of public outreach, policy analysis, fundraising, events and international dialogue. If you live near one of our chapters, you can establish your Student Alliance group in association with that chapter, or you can establish your group at your local school!!

You only need 10 members and a faculty advisor, if you're in middle or high school, to register your group and get started!
