Model UN Conference Staffing
UNA-USA's Global Classrooms hosts Model UN conferences for public high school and middle school students across the country. Take on the challenge of the Global Classrooms conference and become a part of this excellent opportunity.
Conference Staffing Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous Model UN delegate experience and/or conference organizing experience
- Currently pursuing a degree at a college/university or a recent graduate
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills and regular internet access
- Desire to work with and lead a diverse group of people
- Comfortable working and solving problems under pressure
- Strong desire to lead a Global Classrooms Model UN conference
Secretariat Staff Positions and Responsibilities
As a member of the Secretariat, you will serve in one of the capacities listed below. Note that some positions are only available for specific conferences. 
- Committee dais (Chair, Director, Rapporteur)
- Crisis Development
- Conference Services and Logistics
- Chronicle Staff

As a member of the Secretariat, you will be communicating with UNA-USA and Secretariat on various tasks on a regular basis. Responsibilities will include participating in staff training before the conference, addressing logistical needs at the conference, as well as other tasks deemed necessary by UNA-USA.
Local Conference Staff Participation and Travel
UNA-USA will, as much as possible, select local applicants to staff its conferences, with the sole exception of Global Classrooms International Model UN (GCIMUN) on May 17-19, 2012.
In addition, applicants who are selected to be a part of the GCIMUN Model UN Secretariat will be required to staff other Global Classrooms conferences located within their area.
