UNA of Connecticut Offers 2012 Calendar

January 20, 2012

The UNA Calendar for Peace is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2012 with more information about the UN and more ways to share it. The expanded weekly planner features more than 20 UN projects with ideas for local involvement.

The 2012 theme is sustainable development with a special focus on the RIO+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, the International Year of Sustainable Energy for All, and the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. For those who prefer bytes over paper, the full calendar with all of the UN-related facts can now be viewed as an RSS feed or in your personal calendar using iCal.  The Calendar for Peace has been produced annually since 1987 by the Connecticut Chapters of the United Nations Association, and more than 200,000 copies have been distributed to schools, NGOs, and attendees of events such as UN Day celebrations.

Online orders can be made at for the electronic and print versions, or you can use this form to order the weekly planner. The weekly planner is ready to ship, but there are limited supplies. Please direct any questions to Alexandria Faiz, UNA of Connecticut, at (203) 947-2497 or Special arrangements can be made if you would like to offer the Calendar for Peace at an upcoming event or post its content on your website.
