More than 600 of your fellow members and other guests from 37 Chapters and 25 states convened at the United Nations Monday for Members’ Day at the UN, which kicked off what will be a year-long celebration of UNA-USA’s 70th Anniversary. The event, co-hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Region, was a full day at UN Headquarters exclusively for UNA-USA members, where they heard from UN Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson, as well as experts in areas such as climate change and the environment, economy, education, youth, and global security.
The UNA-USA Mid-Atlantic Region includes Chapters and Divisions in New Jersey and New York. The Region has sponsored the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference at the UN since 2009. Contact information can be found on the UNA-USA Website: http://www.unausa.org/chapters.
