The Seoul program was launched in 2008 in partnership with Kyung Hee University. Leading up to their first conference in November, teachers and students were trained under the guidance of Global Classrooms staff. Over 250 middle school and high school students from 70 schools participated at the conference. The ceremonial launch was officiated by Kyung Hee University President, Inwon Choue.
