Global Classrooms Wraps Up An Inspiring Conference Season

May 23, 2013

gcimun-kbcOur flagship education program Global Classrooms wrapped up the domestic conference season last week with the Global Classrooms International High School Model UN conference in New York City. The largest of the UNA conferences, nearly 2,500 students convened at the United Nations, and over three days sought resolution to the world’s most pressing problems.

The conference brought to a close another successful school year for Global Classrooms, reaching more than 25,000 middle and high school students through both conference and classroom participation. The program continues to grow and this year launched the St. Petersburg program.

In operation since 1999, the Global Classrooms brand is a recognized industry leader in the Model UN community and host programs in more than 10 US cities. UNA-USA Education Team promotes Model UN as a resource for chapter engagement and looks forward to assisting members with exploring ways to engage the next generation of advocates using this versatile, interactive and educational activity.
