Global Wake Up Film Festival

The second Global Wake Up Festival of Film, Literature, and Creative Arts presented by the United Nations Association - USA Greater Chicagoland Chapter in support of the United Nations' Millenium Development Goals.

The GLOBAL WAKE-UP Film Festival seeks to educate and enhance public awareness, as well as honor those who have sought to address the United Nations' eight anti-poverty Millennium Development Goals, and other human condition improvements in developing countries. 

In addition to the ongoing celebration of the Millennium Development Goals, this year, it will emphasize HUMAN RIGHTS, as well as women and children issues. 

Through the GLOBAL WAKE-UP Film Festival, UNA-USA Chicago aims at making both local and global connections, by showcasing works of artists, writers, filmmakers, and organizations who exemplify the mission of UNA-USA, The Greater Chicago Chapter and the Global Wake-Up festival.

In the heart of Chicago’s film district, the 2012 GLOBAL WAKE-UP Film Festival will be held on a FRIDAY, November 30, 2012 and SATURDAY, December 1, 2012 at Columbia College Chicago. (Film Row Cinema - 1104 S. Wabash, 8^th Floor).
