WFUNA International Model United Nations (WIMUN) is the flagship model UN conference hosted and organized by the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) in collaboration with the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI-UNA Italy).

  • Youth between the age of 14 and 30 who have experience in Model UN or have high interest in global affairs and the United Nations.
  • Advisers who have a role in planning and organizing MUN conferences.
  • Teachers who use Model UN in their education curriculum.
Conference Theme

The theme for this year’s conference is the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda.

WIMUN will be held at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) headquarters in Rome, Italy. This will be the first Model UN conference in Italy to have the simulation conducted fully at UN premises. Delegates will have access to UN facilities throughout the duration of the conference with various opportunities to engage with staff members from all three Rome-based UN agencies.

Delegate Registration  

  • Early registration fee - 270 USD (Feb 25 - April 15 2014)
  • Regular registration fee - 340 USD (April 16 - May 30 2014)
Faculty Advisor Registration

  • Registration fee - 200 USD (Feb 25 - May 30 2014)
