About the Conference

The Oxford International Model United Nations Conference(OxIMUN) takes place in the halls of our historic colleges. Their beautiful architecture and iconic design has led Oxford to be nicknamed the "City of Dreaming Spires". OxIMUN 2014 offers delegates the unique opportunity to discuss and debate key world issues, listen to some illustrious guest speakers, and meet new people from all across the globe in the rich cultural environment that only one of oldest universities in the world can provide.

OxIMUN will run from Friday 7th November until Sunday 9th November, 2014. The conference is open to all individuals or delegations currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program.

OxIMUN is internationally renowned for its high quality of debate and the overall delegate experience. For 2014 we are going to be accepting nearly 600 delegates from all parts of the globe, delivering a variety of backgrounds, ideas, cultures, and a spirit of global cooperation. OxIMUN 2014 aims to ensure that every participant leaves with unforgettable experiences of a weekend filled with passionate debate. With committee sizes ranging from 15 to 40 delegates and difficulty ratings ranging from Novice to Extreme, OxIMUN has a committee tailored to your preferences and experience.
