International Women’s Day with the Denver Chapter

Film, Girl Rising, produced by CNN Films, is a new feature film about the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to change the world.  Spotlights nine unforgettable girls from around the world born into unforgiving circumstances as they fight to realise their dreams.  Narrated by celebrated actress, including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Salma Hayek, and Cate Blanchett. 

Connections, connections, connections - Through a series of connections, our parent company, the UN Foundation, with its initiative “Girl Up”, is a partner in this social action campaign using the power of storytelling and the leverage of strategic partnerships to deliver this single message: educating girls in developing nations will change the world.
