“I am an MDG Advocate. I want to stamp out extreme poverty, end hunger, stop children from dying before their 5th birthday, and empower women. There is a way for us to achieve these goals: by coming together with the rest of the world on the Millennium Development Goals.

“The MDGs can be reached if we fully fund the foreign affairs account. It isn’t a partisan thing, it isn’t a youth thing, it is a smart investment. As my representative in Washington, I want you to know that I care and want you to as well.

“I ask you to fully fund the Foreign Affairs accounts.”
