In September 2010, Johnson & Johnson made a landmark corporate commitment to women’s and children’s health through a $200 million pledge to the UN Secretary-General’s Every Woman Every Child (EWEC) initiative. One example of Johnson & Johnson’s commitments to EWEC is its effort to leverage mobile technology to provide critical health information to new and expectant mothers.
Last year, Johnson & Johnson became the first corporate partner to the UN’s H4+ partnership of agencies that deal with helping governments around the world meet the health-related Millennium Development Goals.
